Holy Crap Batman!

I felt Baby H move from the outside tonight and I could not be more excited! I have been playing lullabies everyday in 10-15 minute increments, and he/she has never responded to it. Well tonight after my nightly lullaby time I changed stations to Flo Rida on Pandora. Within about 5 minutes this little one kicked HARD! Harder than I have ever felt him/her kick. I immediately put my hand on my belly and a few more strong kicks followed. I was so excited that I turned the music down to fully take in and cherish the moment. Incredible. Absolutely incredible. I called Matt at work and I could hear him smiling through the phone. Now, if you know Matt, he's not easily excitable, but I could tell he was ecstatic. That made me so proud. I love him.

I then told the babe to take a little nap because daddy wasn't home to feel him/her and that I would wake him/her up in a little bit for him/her to show daddy the moves! It wasn't a minute and the babe was back at rest. I can only hope Baby H will be up for another round of kick-boxing when Matt gets home!

I'll be back tomorrow with my 19 week update.
Have a fabulous Sunday night!

  1. Isn't it amazing to feel them kick? Music really does help get them moving! I've read that the faster songs get their heart rate going and they're more likely to move. The slower, more sweet lullaby type songs calm them down and put them to sleep. So, so sweet :)
