Thankful.

As you know I haven't been around lately. It's been, what seems like forever, since I've done a weekly update. Weeks 31 and 32 have come and gone and I'll probably just skip them since I really cannot answer the questions honestly/correctly. However, I will tell you how incredibly thankful I am. I'll tell you how immensely blessed I feel.

I am thankful for my incredibly amazing and perfectly wonderful husband. He has done E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G. for me the past week and a half. He rubbed my back at 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 in the morning. He waited on me hand and foot. Literally, he got up every time I had to go to the bathroom. Getting on/off the couch was hard for me and he was there lending his loving hand every.single.time. He cooked and cleaned and did laundry and took care of and fed the dog. He made sure I was taking my medicine at the correct times. He ran to the store so many times I lost count. He slept in hospital chairs next to my bed and held my hand when I was writhing in pain. He shared loving words when I needed them most. He sweetly and softly touched my belly when Claire would wiggle and thanking God she was doing well through my pain and misery. He would consistently ask what he could do to help. We was my rock and I couldn't have made it without him.

I am thankful for my family. My loving and remarkably wonderful family. They called several times a day to check in on me. They prayed for me and sent me well wishes when I needed them most. They visited in the hospital and brought me sustenance when I asked. They are everything I could ask for and so so much more.

I am thankful for my healthy, growing baby girl, Claire. I went through a lot last week and I, as bad as I felt about it, required the aid of some pretty strong pain medications. Through it all she stayed strong and healthy. For that, I am thankful to God. Praise be to God.

I feel so blessed for my health. I thought I was going to have to be in pain for the rest of my pregnancy, and as of today, I can say that I feel 100% better. I do not have a single pain or discomfort in my entire body. Perhaps the pain of last week has made me stronger, but either way, I am so blessed to be feeling better and being able to get up and move around and feel like a human being again. It's times like these that humble me to the point of tears. It's so easy to complain about not sleeping, or having constant lower back discomfort. We all do it, I'm just as guilty as the next person. However, after being in tears and feeling so helpless that I was begging God to take my pain away I realize how truly blessed I am for my continuous good health. I cannot help but think of the people who are experiencing pain beyond imagination and pray that they might receive the healing hand of God.

I hope to get back into the swing of things this week and give my 33 week update this weekend. Until then, here I am at 32.5 weeks. Have a great week!
