Claire's first birthday.

So I have a one year old.

Wow. 

How did that happen? Where did the time go?

I can't really answer either of those questions but I can tell you that it's been an amazing ride. More incredible and wonderful than I could have ever anticipated, or even dreamed of. I can't say that our life is perfect, because it isn't... not even close. However, I can say that we are beyond blessed for so many reasons and so many of those blessings stem from the greatest little person I've ever known.

I dreamed up a lot of things for Claire's birthday day but for some reason I had a hard time materalizing most of the things that I envisioned. I blame it mostly on the fact that I've been feeling miserable due to the tiny baby growing inside me. Even though certain details were missing {in my mind} we had the perfect party, for the most perfect little princess!
